A question is posed, and then the question is answered by the same person who asked the question, in quotation marks, with no indication as to where the quote is from or why the question was asked in the first place. Is there a hidden question within this question? Do you have pills from Forest Labs and wish to affirm or deny their quality? I am confused.

JNYC has only two posts, both in this same style. My guess is it's a shill, but I'm not entirely sure what the purpose is.

In past months, if a single post was made and nobody responded to it within a week or so, the board software would move the post to a hidden "dead post" forum. That had the effect of (1) removing spam posts like the above automatically, and (2) keeping the boards uncluttered with spurious commentary that nobody cared about, and (3) increased the apparent value of the remaining threads because you could expect a discussion or reply of some kind to the initial post. If it was a sincere and quality question at least one of the moderators would reply to it, so that folks didn't feel ignored. And if anything fell thru the cracks, a post could always be reinstated. So it was a no-lose system.

I do not know if the new software driving this board will continue to do this, or if it's been disabled or forgotten about. I hope it's still in effect, because I see no benefit to allowing posts such as those by JNYC to be maintained on the public board. I also liked the knowledge that if everyone simply ignored the spam, it would go away.

Thanks for the feedback @Magician. I will reinstate that system right away to auto-delete any post which hasn't been replied to after 3 days. By the way if you put the @ in front of people's usernames it alerts them to the fact that there's a post which might need a response. It's a bit convoluted I know, but that's the way it is.

Yes it does look very much as if JYNC is just some idiot being paid to post his junk all over the web. I'll ban him now but leave his post up for the record, for what little it's worth. What a loser answering his own question! Forest Labs need to pay him to stop doing whatever he's doing.

@QVC1212 I dont know. Im just not convinced that Forest Laboratories is the right Laboratory for me. There is just so much to think about when trying to decide on a Laboratory. I wish this wasnt so hard. The people at UpJohn said they would throw in some free T-shirts. Maybe some more useless information would sway me.

There are so many good ones out there, and they're all offering such great deals, it just makes it hard to decide. Pfizer is having a free pill promotion - but three types of controlled meds, get the fourth one free. (Let's see how many people actually read that and believe it, lol).

@drboris I wondered how people did that to refer to others, this post gave me insight that I will further use, I actually love that feature, and im sure it is explained in a sticky somewhere!

Before carisoprodol was banned almost worldwide (barring India, Argentina and, correct me if I'm wrong, the USA???) I was prescribed Carisoma, which was made by Forest Pharma.
They were one of only two brands in the. UK and indeed the only one I ever saw. Excellent quality.
Now I have to get Pain-O-Soma from India, or "Prosoma" which seemingly is NOT a licenced med so therefore illegal. I seem to need the 500mg strength - unknown outwith India - of those Pain-O-Soma to get the same efficacy as Carisoma (which brand is still sold at the usual 350mg in India made by Wallace, Indian's best but now almost impossible to find on an IOP).
