Cocktail time. What'll ya have?

I will take a large warm sake with the 2 of those awesome little sake glasses (assuming I have some good company here). I think I am craving some sushi more than sake, but sake and sushi go together like peanut butter and jelly. I will also take some super white tuna and seaweed salad. Yum!! Great, now I am hungry and no good sushi places around here. Should have just went with a nice cold beer (the darker the better) as most everything goes with a cold beer.

What goes with an awesome thunderstorm. I was thinking something powerful. But I only have some specialty beers and wine. I think I will save the drink for another night and just watch this amazing storm.

I had something like this from Dairy Queen the other day. It's called Lemonade Chiller and you can get either strawberry or raspberry. You should try it!

When I'm not at Dairy Queen (which isn't often, temps in the 90s here every day) -- a glass or two of chilled Sauvignon Blanc, or, if I'm ambitious enough to hit the liquor store, tanqueray and tonic... with lemon, not lime.

Thank you dame! I've been looking for a replacement for my McDonalds frozen lemonade so I'm definitely gonna try that.
 
I gave up drinking a few months ago. Started to become a problem and a nighttime habit.. However, if I do go out with friends on occasion... VODKA Redbull. Makes my heart like an 808. love it.

Hey @Roz and everyone. I don't know if I've ever been on this thread before which surprises me because everyone knows I love my cocktails/straight shots of vodka lol :) If I'm just looking to get drunk, I will drink straight shots of vodka. It's funny because back in high school/college some of the boys were like "how the heck do you do that" and then they'd try it and gag hehe. I told them to just plug their nose because that always works for me if I'm just looking to get completely drunk.

However, my favorite drink is a Pina Colada, a Miami Vice, a Mudslide, or a Long Island Iced Tea (those Long Island's get a person drunk pretty quickly though).

Thank God for Mr. Mimi. He keeps me under control! My very favorite drink is a Pina Colada. Straight shots of Vodka are only fun if you want to get drunk in like 3 minutes lol :)

In all reality, if I'm at home alone with just Mr. Mimi and the kids are sleeping, I just make a Vodka Cranberry or a little Vodka (I mean a ton of Vodka lol) mixed with any type of pop (we say pop in my state for soda). My gosh I sound like a trainwreck :D I just love these massive Pina Coladas ;)

Here in Bolivia, I like Pacena negra, it's a black lager, usually darker beers are ales and so dark lager is unusual. Also the regular Pacena is good too. Something about being in this part of the world makes me like beer more.

Back at home, love margaritas and my favorite tequila is Don Julio. I also keep a bottle of stoli around for an occasional vodka cranberry. I sometimes host an Aloha brunch as an excuse for aloha mimosas, champagne with pineapple juice. Gloria Ferrer is good for mimosas. For straight champagne, Pierre Jouet.

Well it's Friday night, the kids are asleep, Mr. Mimi just went to sleep, so I've been drinking a few shots of Vodka. I told Mr. Mimi that I'd get up with the kids at 5-6 a.m., but secretly I know I'm lying lol :) :D He's gonna get up, and I'm gonna pretend I'm passed out on the floor :D
 
Not a cocktail but I'm having a couple Harpoon IPA's with my chicken quesadilla at the local tavern.
Will be headed home soon to jump into the Saturday night losers thread.
