@Jen38 Exactly, there needs to be some kind of balance. If an old person, who is CLEARLY in pain and has no history of drug abuse can't get pain pills then why are they even making them? Who is being prescribed them? I went to the doctor's yesterday for a cold that just won't get better and it's been going on for like 2 weeks. I get tested for the flu and Covid and both test negative. I tell them that I've been having the shakes, cold sweats at night, trouble sleeping. All true. And I'm really not drug seeking and only went because my girlfriend said I needed to get checked out cause I'm suffering for so long. And of course they only offer me antibiotics that I already have. I was really hoping for like a little codeine cough syrup or maybe something light like a few tramadol but I should have known better. Not to mention I already had the antibiotics they prescribed me at home. Not even sure what the point is of going to the doctors is anymore. They're like a shitty version of Google. 😂

@calgal99 I've been told that opening it underwater can work. You can also open it in a public mall/ restroom for example, and leave the packaging with tracking in the trash there. It truly makes me sick to see what a police state this country has become. The $$$ that is given to government organizations like the dea "funding" is outrageous. Last year 40+ Dea top dogs became executives at pharmaceutical companies. I guess making it illegal to buy meds from other countries was for our own good though, not pharma's or dea's. (Sarcasm)

I feel like we’re all a bit paranoid froM time to time. Probably more often than not! I have one that sailed thru from an iOP and now it’s sitting inbound for the second day. Thanksgiving backlog? Excess mail due to holidays? No clue, worried none the less… I wish us all a very happy mail day real soon!

My grandmother was dying and they wouldn't give her pain meds because my mother had medical authority an didn't want her addicted. Ironically, my mother is a raging alcoholic who thinks drugs are bad and makes a person bad. (I once told her alcohol is a drug and she is an addict. She told me it is impossible to be addicted to alcohol. Yes, she really thinks this.)

I once yelled at her and said 'who cares if a 95 year old becomes dependent on meds..' She isn't going down the street to get heroin EVER.' She was in so much pain and it made her depressed and miserable. She ended up in hospice three months later but I hate that she lived in pain until hospice took over. She passed away peacefully within weeks.

More irony- my brother is an alcoholic as well. Family finally had to admit that HE has a problem after a massive stroke and withdrawals that kept him in ICU for weeks. But, don't worry, only HE has a problem. The rest of us are just fine. Such idiots.
 
What a horror story, but sadly, not uncommon. I work sometimes for an elderly couple who’s daughter had a huge bias against opiates too, altho it was more about - it’ll damage her kidneys or cause her to fall. Same thing - had to go on hospice to finally get decent pain help. She’s actually improved from getting adequate pain management tho.

Your mom needs to think alcohol is different than drugs so she can keep drinking. Sad tho. The hypocrisy around alcohol is enraging at times…🤬
 
Domestic order… has been in three distribution centers and stopped at third… it was an express two day delivery. It’s been four days now… feel very worried. Has this happened to anyone before?
I’ll distribution centers are in the same place to… California. Input anyone?
 
And is signing up for tax updates a big no-no or doesn’t really matter… I always wondered about that

A lot of these distribution centers are severely understaffed and backlogged. One of mine is stuck in the midwest right now.

Unfortunately I’m on a tough spot and need that order by tomorrow. That makes things more intense of course… pretty upset right now. Trying to stay positive and thinking “oh it will be here tomorrow”
I did however contact my vendor to see if they could re-ship or ship a new order in case this one is really going to be stuck but they did not get back to me today which I’m pretty bummed about… Todd.
Confused as to why you didn’t get back to me because when I need to place an order he’s always there… What times takes a few hours but that’s it.

It’s not really an option. Not something I can stop taking either… so I’m really screwed if it doesn’t move and it hasn’t! It’s been over 24 hours with no update… and it’s already late on 2day express shipping. So I’m going to be beside myself if it doesn’t move move by morning.
These are the times overnight shipping back in the day would be amazing… i wish my vendor would get back to me too… he still hasn’t. I could of placed a back up order today! I don’t think overnight shipping is even an option with Todd now though. If I think about it I go panic so I’m not thinking, at all.
I remember promising myself I would never be in this position again but here I am… again!!!!
 
West coast since this morning no update but delivery scheduled for Monday so I wasn't too worried until I read your post
