I was scammed by Rx-Medicare.com and some vendor on IndiaMART

@Dboc80 I was just searching for pictures of what 1mg Farmaprams looked like and I clicked IndiaMART , first thing I did was to come and search here to see what's said about it. They are scammers huh? Their site seems too good to be true. No one in India would have all these controlled substances ( in India ) genuinely for sale online
The pics are gorgeous, huh? And prices are TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. I ordered from one vendor on there and I should have known better. He was rushing me, he was shady, I should have let it be. But I sent him the BTC, he ghosted me after sending a fake tracking number on a fake site. I have heard of people having success there. I believe they may be certain vendors, but mine was scum.

I've heard people say the "20% more or less potency" thing about generics for a long long time, since the old days of drug discussion. Is there actual law or some concrete thing you can point to that proves it once and for all? I have never known what to believe for sure in regards to this

I used to get Teva generic clonazepam, and I thought they sucked. It could have been tolerance, maybe so maybe not. This was the last time I remember buying name brand K cuts. There used to be a Lortab brand that sucked as well, it was universally known to be weak af. They were speckled but generic. Not made any longer. People wanted Watson or Malinkrodt
I’m not sure where it’s written, but I have heard from reputable sources for years that generics are allowed to vary by 20%. And sometimes a certain generic of a certain drug, is actually widely know.n by people to be much worse than than the brand or other generics and the FDA ends up discontinuing that particular generic.

Also, k-cuts are still available. Roche still made them up until recently, then it became a company called H2- Pharma LLC that sells the k-cuts under the Klonopin name.

Too good to be true. That is exactly the case here. I fell for that shit hook line and sinker! There may be a reliable vendor or more, but I didn’ deal with a trustworthy individual. I dealt with some little prick who conned me out of $150 or so. Maybe a little more. I was LIVID!

Name brand Klonopin is not available any longer is it? I did read that the name brand Tranxene "T tabs" are still available for some reason. I never got to try that drug. I never see it outside the US so I can't really try it via an OP
That was about the third benzo I was on long term. I was 18 or 19 and had been on Xanax and Klonopin already. The docs started me early at 16, now I’m 38 and still on them daily. Tranxene is very long acting and takes a while to kick in. I remember it being very mild. It didn’t pack any punch. It was like Librium. Serax I could even feel kicking in. I’ve hopped around a lot. I’ve been on Klonopin more years than all of em, but I’ve taken everyone available in the US for years at time for anxiety and insomnia. Had lots from overseas just to experience them.

I had, actually asked for Serax back when I had an old school ( in the mid 90's ) psychiatrist who would almost write anything, and I hated it. Very short acting, felt like Ativan but about 50% the effect. I thought Librium was Ok, it's certainly not Valium. I didn't like Ativan either, not for everyday use. I'd sure like about 6mg of Ativan right now.. but daily it loses it's effect fast

Yeah I’m not a huge fan of the lower potency benzos, that’s likely my ridiculous tolerance. Wish I’d never stated these in the first place, but at nearly 40, I can’t / won’t take eternal and seemingly impossible journey to quit benzos. After this long they are just a part of me that I must unfortunately accept. Klonopin was what I started with and I’m taking it now. Xanax is really nice, but too short acting and reinforcing to take regularly the was i do along with my additive nature. The XR version was totally unremarkable. Took those when they first came out. Valium is another I really liked for daily coverage. Long acting and potent, not too sedating but very effective.

I was forced off Valium after having a script since the mid 90;s, in 2021 or so. Now I only use low to moderate doses once every five to seven days. Then a longer break in between to make sure I'm not picking up a physical habit. Same with opioids like 7 hydroxymytrgynine. I'm weak when it comes to withdrawal, when I kick I stay sick for months and months. Serious bad post acute withdrawal, and am scared like hell of it. I've had two seizures from abusing benzos, years ago, so I'm rightfully scared of those too.

The XR Xanax really does suck, although it’s better than nothing if you have GAD. I’m pretty sure it is just a cash grab to charge more money for it. If XR benzos were somehow better than IR, why is there not XR in all of the other popular ones? Arguably it would increase the duration of the alpraz, but if that was what was clinically indicated, then they could just use a longer acting benzo.

It definitely isn’t an anti abuse thing, like they do with PK’s.

They make .05, 1, 2 and 3mg tablets of Xanax XR. I wonder if it really lasts 24hours? I suspect not. I'm sure you can defeat the time release mechanism somehow. The new OP Oxycontin can very easily be split into whatever size piece you need. The first time I got a hold of one I was amazed to discover this, they basically didn't change anything other than reduced effectiveness with the new formulation. You can't crush them, but you can split them and they release all at once

I don’t think the XR Xanax are supposed to last 24 hours, but I could definitely be remembering wrong. I got a box of blisters but it was probably 15 years ago. I think they were 8 hours, but not sure. They are a really odd shape, almost like a triangle with rounded edges and a rounded shape that protrudes from the center on both sides. They were impossible to use as IR because they were way too hard to crush, and chewing them was impossible.

You have to use a pair of scissors or a sturdy pill cutter, the new Oxycontin can be split, I would bet Xanax XR can also be split. Internet says they're supposed to be once per day dosing. I gotta look more into this. See what people have to say about it on reddit. I would bet anything that a tablet will pass through the small intestine before 24 hours is up

@Just Alex you’re doing the wise thing. The less you can use and lower potency medications you can take, the better. I know people that are on more than 4 mg of Klonopin daily and maybe they’ll be ok, maybe not. I’m also on 110 mg of methadone because of my long term opioid habit. But I’m not walking around like a zombie. I just rather wouldn’t be so dependent on things outside myself to get through the day.

Yeah, I think their patent was about to expire or already had, and then they were like, hey Xanax wasn’t prescribed by conservative docs bc it was so short acting, let’s put some time release in place and put in a new drug application for Xanax Extended Release. It’ll last all day and we’ll throw in a 3 mg tablet. Then they tried to save their asses again by marketing the oral disintegrating tablet. Patent comes close to expiring and they are on it with rebranding.

@Just Alex when I was on Xanax , I’d just chew that waxy, chalky-ass tablet and the time release would break. Don’t know if they’ve added other abuse deterrent measures since then.

*gag* The taste of xanax even for the few seconds its in my mouth is enough to make me want to throw up, I can't imagine chewing those things.

It wasn’t easy or tolerable like doing it with a IR pill. These things had a texture that was something else, let me tell ya!

There is not a ton of useful info. It’s not what you think it is but it’s a better community if your needing a boost of morale or peer support.

I’m also about to go full on tra withdrawal and I’m scared to death as I haven’t been without for 11 years! I cannot get in touch with my usual reliable vendor and I was supposed to get my order today as I’m complete without now. Scared to death really.

If you can take even something with anti seizure properties like gabapentin or pregabalin, that may at least keep seizures at bay. I’m here for you. It’s a real tough spot you are in. I totally feel for you!!
