I have ordered meds from IndiaMart suppliers for over 10 years without problems. In the last month I tried to order hydrocodone, Norco, and Vicodin from 5 different suppliers. They were all scammers who did not ship after getting MoneyGram Payment. 3 had used a name of a n honest Company that does no deal in controlled substances I lost almost $1000.

@authrDave, That Sucks! Last time I made the mistake of picking up the phone from an Indian Vendor, he (David, yeah right) said they now control over 50 sites and it offers the customers better deals, B.S. Just keep posting and contributing and I bet you will find a good source, although at least with my experiences, the Indian Vendors were some times 4-6 times the price and got scammed several times but money was refunded both times. Best Wishes on your journey with us. FFD

I'm starting to believe all of India is in on this, just one giant spider web of tellemarketers. And the default policy is to lie. Their meds are sometimes good sometimes fake. I try to avoid that part of the world at all costs.

Yes you have to be very very learry of most vendors from this part of the world you just have to do your home work and risk management if you are going to jump into one then do a small order something if you do get scammed you wont take such a hard hit I hope this helps.

IndiaMart is full of Scammers UPDATE: I have given up on trying to figure out which IndiaMart vendors of Hydrocodone, etc. are not scammers. I guess I will just give up.
HOWEVER, I figured out that if I order other Meds from them I can rely on vendors which show Trust Seal with a red check. I have ordered Etizolam and antibiotics and received them within a week. Prices are great and most all sell meds from well known manufacturers. Cipla, Intas, etc. Prices are quite cheap. Etizolam is 20 cents a pill at several venders. Unfortunately they do not deal in opiates or benzos.

A few months back I was trying to buy on Indiamart - I ended up getting numerous calls from US phone numbers. They promised me they would charge less than any other vendor I had used. I said, "No, Thank You". They seemed very desperate to get my money. I decided they must be scams. I asked one of them why they were using a US phone # and they said because they had their office here in the US. What a crock. I'm glad I found this place before I ever ordered anything!

Thanks for the heads up. It really does seem like they ate all affiliated. Such a shame that some of these places don't realize they could make a ton more money if they were honest and fair. They could corner a large repeat market.

Ranbaxy is often thought to be an indian brand, but they are based in Ireland. Ranbaxy meds are legit.

In the last few months I read a press release describing the merger between Ranbaxy and Sun Pharma.
Although satellite operations were mentioned in several countries (including Ireland), they both have always been based in India and the merged entity will continue to be.
Ranbaxy has been headquartered in India for more than 50 years according to the release.
Off-topic but somewhat interesting.

They have manufacturing place in rural Ireland, so you get NHS scripts with Ranbaxy on them. I did a double take when I first saw the box with the Ranbaxy logo on it.

As someone who knows the pharma industries based in Ireland I can tell you that the Ranbaxy is not based in Ireland. In July Sun Pharma announced their closure of the merger deal with Ranbaxy. Sun Pharma was also not Irish-based.

I do not know if their meds are legit or not, not having had any myself, so I've no opinion on that.

In reference to anything else at IndiaMart, I've no dealings with them and cannot comment on that with any depth of experience.

Best wishes, RB.

I am getting many phone calls from Indian sounding people promising that they have the best quality and best prices. Then I ask for a website, and most don't even have one! Just lost $165 sending money to Oriental Pharmacy through IndiaMart. Sent money Western Union, then got e-mail that minimum order is $550 and to send them more money. Won't give me a refund or send the medicine, so I guess I've been ripped off. Complained to IndiaMart--supposedly they called the site to try to get resolution, but no help yet.

I have gotten those phone calls as well, and could tell it was a indian just by the way that he talked.......
Really annoying:angry:

If I can find the article, the CEO of Ranbaxy (which is in India) would not give his child his own company's medicines. Quite a statement.

Quite a similar experience here.

I too recently got scammed by an indiama@Mods this post contained a link to a fake-news, clickbait, or hate site. Please investigate. guy located in India, "Thomas" (cash recipient).

The guy is very responsive and speaks good english and offers good prices. really seemed legit due to his.

The scam was a bit more than i bargained for - before the package supposedlly arrived, i got a scary email from the supposed "shipping company" mentioning customs and requesting double the money to be sent to the same guy.

Contacted the guy and asked what was going on, - he's happy to resend the package if more money is sent for re-shipping. I offered to reduce the number of items in my order as a payment for reshipping - he obviosly refused.

This got me thinking how come before this I've always got the stuff i've ordered, then it came to me that it was done always through recommendations and not a google search...

I didn't know that they made Hydrocodone in India. ?

But i get what OP is saying.. Buying through different vendors on the website...... ...

Except for each vendor you do not really have reviews.

Be careful
