Me too. I'm so surprised how this forum keeps going.

With chronic back pain and narcissistic doctors, this place is needed for many of us. The war on chronic pain patients is out of hand. The health care system is horrendous in America for many of us.

It's even harder when the forums are so quiet! This is the slowest I've seen it here over the years, which is really a shame. I'd love to post more but the threads are so old it really doesn't make much sense.

I think part of why it’s slow is it’s summer. Folks are likely busy outside more and honestly, I find people are more “active” here when they are having difficulties finding meds or getting them thru, but I think it’s been a little smoother for many of us these days, (which I never thought I’d be saying. )

It doesn’t really matter how you get the posts needed. You can respond to any thread that’s not closed. Sometimes when a newer person reactivates an old thread, that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

We are all here for pretty much the same thing so do what you need to get to where you might need to be, and then we all benefit from the shared info. There are plenty of threads about health issues or payment methods or just the issues of getting adequate treatment from modern healthcare providers. And there’s also threads that are just there to create interaction like games or simple “hows your day” stuff. I think part of the point is for new folks to become “known” at the same time they get to know the rest of us.

All I know for sure is my life would be significantly harder without this forum so I make it a point to visit here several times a week whether I’m finding meds easily or not. And truthfully i get a big kick out of helping other folks do the same.
