In order to encourage our Senior Members to stay engaged with the site, I have turned back on the forum function which demotes inactive Senior Members with less than 1,000 reputation points after 90 days of inactivity. If you do not log in AND post at least once every 90 days your account will be demoted to "Lapsed Senior Member" status. This means you will be unable to access the Senior Members' area of the site until you make 30 new forum posts. Once you make 30 forum posts, you will regain your full Senior Member status within one hour (the system only upgrades accounts once per hour). Senior Members with over 1,000 reputation points have lifetime immunity from being demoted. You will get an email and PM warning a few days before the demotion happens, so please make sure the email address you registered with your forum account is up to date.

I will not lift the "lapsed" status manually for anyone from now on, so please don't PM me with requests!

Am I okay then, how do we know our rep points? Like I never have knew what amounts the color squares stand for.

DP, you couldn't become a lapsed member with the rep count you have, even if you actively tried.
From your page: Reputation score 6901 point(s) total
If you go here and click on the 2nd folder tab that says "About Me" it'll show your rep points. https://pharmacyreviewer.co/forum/members/davidpaul.html

Oh great, so in case I go to the 'joint' for a few years again I'll still be a member when I get out. That's good to know.

I think this is a good idea. We need more activity in the Senior section. I remember back in the day there were many more posts and new vendors being listed almost every week. I realize this is 2018 and things have changed with less good vendors. Good idea to get things going again @Admin

DP, I will move heaven and earth (and whatever other forces of,... ahem,... 'nature'....) to make sure you have internet access if you ever go back in for
a stretch. (Knock wood, no) So, even if you did have to worry about the rep point thing, we'll still have you here in PR. Deal?!?

Well, won't have much to say there, playing spades and my daily workout, maybe a fight or stabbing once in a while. Much more quiet there than out here, but even so, it's not my favorite place to be.

ahhh man, i got kicked out the seniors forum after a long run, i was unable to get on here.. sucks
@phatboy, see, @Admin is always right (yeah, I'm a suckup, heh!) Anyway, glad you got reinstated. But we really do need to try to keep engaged over here, you never know what kind of crap might come down from {somewhere} with little to no warning, and if we're not active on this site, we could miss out on important information. Such as the stuff that is happening in SA/SAPO these days.... :(

Peace.

^i hear you on being more engaged, it's true, we need to help each other here, especially the people that's been around... and thank you for letting me hold the keys once again :))

Oh, I was just reading a related question to this posted by another member, so this is very helpful.

Less than 1000 and you need a post every 90 days.

Not that I'll ever have 1000, but it's good to understand the rules.

Thank you.

@Admin,

Does everyone use their main email acount ? ... Mine works, but ...

Unfortunate ... I´m not in the ´safe zone´ yet. And if you need anything on short notice and have to create 30 posts ... not ideal.

@Admin,

Has the way posts are counted been changed ? I thought I had over 900 posts .... Just checked, considerably less. (got a feeling that I can forget about the 'magic 1,000)

How do i find out how many reutation points i have?I can see a different coloured bar but it doesnt say anything about rep points,not that i can see anyway.

You have 1766 Reputation points - click on your user name on the top right of any page. When the page opens, look for a tab labeled About Me. Scroll down to the section named Statistics. You will find it there.

Also take a few minutes to check out some of the other information there.

Hope this helps - Pete
