Hey yall.

My friends call me Karma, I’m 25 and this is my first time using this forum. From what I’ve read so far people seem to really like it here, so I’m optimistic I’ll find what I’m searching for. Looking forward to senior status :)

Hello Karma.
Welcome to the forum and you will find new things you seek and need. The forum is laidback and very friendly.
Thanks! I’ve already skimmed several forums and have got quite a lot of new information. It’s a bit overwhelming but I trust that the pieces will start to click and I won’t be floundering forever. I really appreciate you’re reply :)

It’s like learning to drive a car. Then when you come here it’s like learning to drive a car in a new city.

You will have threads you will check over and over like the shipping experience thread or when you get senior status you will seem the same names over and over again. This forum has a very active loyal user group. I been away for a while as life changes things and hobbies. But now I’m back.

@sherbet well it looks like you’re crushing it!! I see you’ve already been outpacing me in terms of building a reputation around here 😅 I admire the dedication

My reputation for never being able to shut my damn mouth about harm reduction seems to be appreciated here 🤣 looking forward to seeing you rise the ranks my friend! 🙌

@sherbet harm reduction is everything. I stay strapped with narcan just in case. Never had to use it but know folks who have literally saved lives. Back and white systemic structures regarding drugs, medicinal or recreational, leads to a lot of death and few recoveries so keep it up!

Sounds like we're 100% on the same page! Now that you've reminded me, I'm gonna look into getting some narcan. I'll be spending time with a friend soon who is an opioid addict so better safe than sorry. Same for any substance use though really, you never know what's in anything these days. It's pretty terrifying to think about.

Depending on where you’re at you can get freee narcan from certain libraries. Way to me a homie :)

We have a "drug awareness coalition " in my town. There is a display of free Narcan in front of their offices, and there is also one in the Laundromat for some reason.

That's awesome. This thread prompted me to have a look and oddly in my region it's pretty hard to obtain. I might just ask my local pharmacy next time I go if it's something they have available. It's hard to buy even, which is odd. The police have access to it here but for regular folks it's hard to come by in rural areas it seems.
