@Delta L1011 i loved your last post on this thread. . Bravo Bravo!!! Hope you are well my friend. M
Still nothing. It’s been five days since it says it departed Jamaica. If it really did it would’ve been here by now so I think either something is really messed up with shipping or more likely it got taken by customs. I agree about the outbound scans but it really should’ve arrived by now. I live very close to the POE. I don’t know. Thanks for your words of encouragement though.Any updates? I would bet you probably have received by now but if not, it's coming. For me, outbound scans have a 100% delivery, but some have apparently still had them snagged but I think it's rareI have a situation that I have not seen before. Some scans were skipped but basically it went inbound into customs, then outbound out of customs about seven days later, and then there are two scans: arrived at Jamaica and departed Jamaica and both have the same timestamp. No tracking updates since.
Can I assume that it made it through customs and it’s just taking its time to get to a regional distribution center or is it possible that they grabbed it? What gets me is the identical timestamps of the scans. Thanks and good luck to anyone waiting.
I also have a package that went inbound into customs, then shows outbound, arrival AND departure in Jamaica with the same time stamps. I'm concerned; this happened to me last month resulting in a LL. Fingers crossed; I really could use these.Well, this is odd. I wasn't expecting this pack for a couple of weeks. Arrived yesterday at ISC NY, inbound scan, now tonight got the Jamaica scan but no outbound scan. Just dispatched from Jamaica.?? Fingers still crossed cause as I said, it's only guranteed if you get the outbound scan and this pack didn't get that. I'll keep updating
That’s exactly what mine had and I have not heard anything for almost 7 days. No movement. I am waiting for a LL at this point.I also have a package that went inbound into customs, then shows arrival and departure in Jamaica with the same time stamps. My package left country of origin a month ago and that was the last scan I got. Thought it was a goner until today, when very much to my surprise, I got a delivered scan. Checked the mailbox and there it was, completely intact. I've had some scans skipped in the past but this is the first time to skip all the scans, so it does happen.
Mine arrived -- and in record time. No scans after it left Jamaica until it showed up at my p.o. a day later. Total traveling time was 11 days. With the odd time stamps I had been worried it was a goner. Very happy to receive! Best of luck to those waiting.I also have a package that went inbound into customs, then shows outbound, arrival AND departure in Jamaica with the same time stamps. It sounds optimistic that you're all good!Forgive me if this has been answered before, but I don’t have too many packs hit Jamaica, in fact I’m pretty sure this is the fist time I’ve at least ever seen a scan from there.
But let’s say my letter showed a scan as processed thru IScee N/Y, (which I know, means squat in terms of its safety), and then 1 minute later a scan saying arrived at regional facility - Jamaica Int’l Dist. Center.
Is that mean my letter is I n the clear, or is that what you’re all dealing with that I read about the last couple of pages… and it doesn’t necessarily mean you’re in the clear?
Any help understanding this is appreciated, thanks!
ISC is just where all international mail and packages are dumped. There are five ISCs in the USA (NY, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Miami). Then it would go to a distribution center like Jamaica. There it will go through customs. Until your package leaves Jamaica on its way to its destination, it is not in the clear.Forgive me if this has been answered before, but I don’t have too many packs hit Jamaica, in fact I’m pretty sure this is the fist time I’ve at least ever seen a scan from there.
