@jaders I'll give a full rundown. I try and be very methodical about this, and prefer to get the LL and then request the reship. That reduces the number of "balls in the air" so to speak, as well as my anxiety about all of this and the amount of head space I need to allocate to managing my needs. I'm going on 4 weeks since the package stopped updating (or, rather, stopped updating after "inbound into customs") and the notice (if it comes) is taking its sweet time... and I'm also running out of time in terms of those items of necessity which I have remaining on hand.
You are MUCH better off becoming a senior and find you some domestic options. Your quality of life will improve dramatically…

Don’t worry about spamming the forum. You wouldn’t be the first…😜
Not my style. I see the value in this forum. Even though I lurked silently for MANY years, I got a lot of useful information (about shipping, payment, and other stuff). I actually try and take this seriously --- in that, I appreciate that I'm walking a very fine line between my dependence on certain things and then overdoing it. Spamming to me feels like I'm cheating.

That said: I am indeed looking forward to - what did another newbie ahead of me call it - the "gold jacket"? That's ultimately why I'm here, but to also share information. And, in this latter regard, it is upsetting to see that you and @Mick2 have items stuck. Add my loss to that, and we're building up some evidence of either a crackdown, or perhaps the start of a much better system of detection... or something. Please, the both of you: updates appreciated.

Had one fly thru just a couple weeks ago, and another person I know got one last week thru here from same COO, so it's still very much hit or miss. Who knows what causes it?

I sure wish we could find a pissed off ex customs agent to come here and "school" us. Wouldn't it be lovely to ask them any questions we wanted? :geek:

It might not be your style but I think it is mine. My post count is getting close to the required amount to reach senior status! I might just go on a short, little blitz here to put me over the top and then back off to my once a day or every other day post! :)

And nothing to report on my end regards to tracking. It's still stuck in ISC NY. It's gone over 3 full days now. It's not looking good.

@jaders I agree with your assessment that there probably isn't anything real new going on with customs. I had a couple that went right through within the last few weeks that were sent from a country that's supposedly higher risk for inspection. But who really knows?

Oh, I'm pretty certain that the original is gone. I've gotten LLs between 2-6 weeks (or, as I suspect, not at all) but circumstances are such that I need to be a little - how shall we say - slower? less frequent?

I totally understand. I think I'm kind of in the same boat right now. I've had a few LLs over the past 4-5 months (3) and I'm really not keen on getting extra scrutiny. I already think that the first address I used got flagged. I only have this one order that's in ISC NY out there pending right now. If it doesn't pop out of customs I'll try to land a reship because I've already paid and the vendor will reship. Either way, though, I think I'm going to take a break on international ordering for a while after this one.

Blitz away! The more the merrier, imho...;)

@Charlie E. - I do use the term "spam" jokingly. Nothing wrong in trying to speed up the process. It's not like every post has to confer pearls of wisdom. I think the requirement to become a senior is an attempt to protect some of the info, for sure, but also it gives folks a chance to know each other, and that isn't necessarily a function of time, nor ordering information. Getting on threads that talk about personal stuff even as mundane as cooking, traveling or of course health related, all have value, imho. It's just a big team here and we're all rooting for ourselves and each other, again imho. It's pretty easy to discern the ones who just drop in for a quick look and maybe do try to take what they can. Usually they find themselves lapsed and have to expend even more effort than if they'd just stuck around and participated a bit more. I know life gets in the way - not dissing anyone who does lapse, but I still feel like if you gain value for your life here, it's good karma to give back. Folks are more likely to help you along if they see you around often as well. Just my lowly opinion. I would have a much worse quality of life without this place - I'm sure of that.

As far as seeing MIA's in a row. I think some weeks they probably just search more heavily than others for any number of reasons. Yeah I am so royally pissed and detest that my medicine has been "stolen" by the government when I feel like I'm only exercising my right to liberty, health and happiness. But a lot of folks here have been at this a very long time and are still meeting their needs. Don't give up on yourself if feeling well is what you want! :muscle:

@jaders I'm definitely going to blitz here for just a bit. Just 11 posts to go! Hopefully, I can get over the top after a few posts tomorrow! I just need to make sure each post is long enough to count towards my total. :)

Please continue the updates! Its like knowing how turbulent your flight will be before taking off... and I'm at the gate for another.

Can’t believe it- mine did make it! Skipped scans. Someone mentioned that to me, that especially over the weekend it can look stuck but obviously it still moved.

I know that doesn’t help you, @Charlie E. but at least you know that there’s no new heavy hand going on. 🤷‍♂️

The stress and depression/frustration of the last few days is why I try to avoid tracking altogether until a significant amount of time has passed. Pretty much every time I don’t adhere to that I’m asking for trouble.

I sure wish y’all happy and safe endeavors here. I am willing to help anyone along as best I can…

Wow! That's great! Did it just suddenly pop up in Queens or was it further along down the road? I hope I have such good luck! Mine has been in ISC NY now for 4+ days with no movement on the tracking.

Woohoo! That's great to hear. I've only heard of the skipping scans, but have never myself had a major skipping of scans (yes, the occasional step along the way that isn't included, but never a whole set of scans). Mine is now almost 4 weeks MIA, so that's an official goner (though, truth be told, I'll always maintain that teeny-tiny sliver of hope that it just fell off a cart somewhere, and will one day be found and make it to me...). You gotta keep a little hope in this whole thing!

@Mick2 Ugh. Good luck. For what its worth, four days - a little under five actually - was the longest I'd ever had a package stuck at the ISC. There's still a little hope... @jaders caught a break. Let us know.

It went straight from inbound to at the local post office (and actually out for delivery all in the same friggin day!). No mention of queens or Jamaica. Crazy! Sometimes they really are moving!

I wish everyone this same luck!

@Charlie E. CONGRATULATIONS! Looks like you finally made it to the promised land! 😜. I think you’ll find it will be worth the effort.

An update - a very unexpected one, good for the group (in terms of info), not so great for me. I ended up receiving a reship today, very unexpectedly. I had mentioned the lost item and they went ahead with a replacement, although I had asked for a pause. The good news: 6 days from OPP to arrival. A new record. The bad? Its a brand I HATE... and can't / won't use. My joy at seeing the unexpected package turned to immediate sorrow upon opening... so, well, looks like I'll be starting from SQUARE ONE again. ARRGGHHHHHH!!!!

Mine just went over 5 days in ISC. This one looks like a goner for sure........unless I get lucky like @jaders did.......but I'm not counting on it. My vendor will reship if it hits 3 weeks with no movement on tracking. Hopefully I can land that one.

@jaders That's crazy that it went that far without a scan showing up. I've heard of that happening from time to time. Happy for you!

That stinks that it's not the brand you wanted on the reship after all that stress over the stuck package. It is some good news as it looks like your address isn't burnt and your vendor can still get packages through!

@Mick2 Absolutely - and, even more so, I've gotten to know a few folks along the way. I also wanted to connect with other folks working through and within this ridiculous situation as well. My only regret is not engaging earlier!

I just checked my tracking and got great news! At least it's great for me and good for others as it indicates that there probably isn't an extra customs crackdown going on. After 6 days of being stuck at ISC, it finally showed up in Queens tonight! That's the longest I've ever seen!
