My kids and I are reading the I survived book series. It's all about things that happened in history like 911, the Revolutionary War, Pearl Harbor, a tsunami. Each book is about a child that lived through something extraordinary and how they survived it. They are really quite addictive. I've learned a lot about periods in history just from reading them.

Anyone read the Assassins Trilogy by Robin Hobb? One of the best series I’ve ever read with more series in that world.
