THC Pee Test Always Negative

I may have a lab test coming up in the future, so I've bought two different brands of at-home drug tests to try. For whatever reason, they show negative even if I smoke for about a week. My wife shows positive immediately. Any ideas what is going on?
 
I’m embarrassed to even ask this…. I have never that I know of had a random dr visit drug test. Well yesterday they told me after I had already peed in the cup. Which to me wasn’t a big issue. I have a lot of health issues so they normally will check my urine for whatever. Anyway they told me they were going to do a drug test which I was ok with….. but after I got home I remember I took 1mg of Xanax vs my klonipin….. can they tell the difference?? Y’all don’t seem like the judgy type….. Ty Jesus. I have been worried sick and for some reason the dr isn’t calling in my autoimmune meds which makes no sense!! Ugh! I’m just really stressing myself out

@shawnna5 IS correct IF AND ONLY IF it's a "full U/A" which is extremely expensive to do. I seriously doubt that they would look for metabolites of Xanax vs Klonopin unless they use a Gas Chromatograph Mass Spectrometer. Chances are they will NOT use such a system as it's very costly and unnecessary. A benzo comes out as a benzo in a urinalysis. I would be very surprised if they would go further than that.

Yeah, no way are they ever going to use a mass spectrometer for drug analysis unless it's for a criminal investigation for the murder of a judge or something vaguely similar
 
@Isntiton have you heard about when you don't turn off a mass spectrometer after it's registered all the elements up to gold? (you're testing a gold pendant or whatever) ?

I think they would have to do a "higher level" test which I also think they're unlikely to do if this is a standard thing? Here's what google found...
