Another two I’ll gladly recommend… Godfather of Harlem. I cannot believe this show didn’t get better reviews. I’m picky, and it’s fantastic. Highly recommended.
And also, Top Boy is excellent as well. The problem is it’s difficult to find the first two seasons. The first two seasons are called Summerhouse… which is the name of the housing project this show takes place. I found the first two seasons on YouTube then the rest on Netflix. It’s a show about British drug gangs.
Season 4 just came out on Netflix and it was great.
@Wintergirl1980 I'm with you on Godfather of Harlem! I don't know anyone who's seen it and I thought it was fantastic as well. Cast, story sets, all perfection. What about Giancarlo Esposito....hard to believe Gus Fring actually smiles-what a treat and a talent! Have you heard if they're planning on a season 3?

Ozark, Counterpart, Berlin Station, Yellowstone, 1883. Can't wait for Better Call Saul to finish (I like watching shows at least 1 a night).

Right, I’m intrigued..Godfather of Harlem is now in my watchlist. It’s on Starzplay so I’ll have to try and binge it all within the free 7 day trial period 😵‍💫😆

In fact, there are now so many different platforms and so many good things to watch..I’m thinking of becoming a 'serial subscriber' (a term I’ve just invented 😀) ie cancelling my long term subscriptions and just subscribing for a month or two when there are a few things to watch. Does anyone else do this?

"Steins;Gate" is my latest bing watch

I've just started watching anime for the first time because of the Pandemic

If you don't think you'll like anime, give something like the dubbed version of "Steins;Gate" a try. It's scifi time travel and romantic comedy that gets very dark. You will cry. If you're me, you'll cry a lot.
Usually english dubs aren't recommended, but the voice actor really gave such a great performance and even rewrote most of the lines and did a fantastic job.

Was watching the lincon lawyer series on netflix.. not bad def deviates pretty far off from the movie, but still has some things similar enough that your interested..

But i dunno 1 season not the best show.

Reacher, it wasn't exactly the cinematic climax but it's still perfectly watchable for 3 reasons, the main actor actually resembles the main protagonist from the novels, he looks like my younger brother regarding size and stature and thirdly, I perceive and approach (and would have practiced) the "justice" the same way as he does. Kinda juvenile thinking but I believe everything, from movies, series to literature respectively, is more "digestible" and attractive if you can strongly relate to the key characters...

I just binged Zero zero zero , available on Amazon Prime. I thought it was really good. It was filmed in multiple locations across the World, Italy, USA, Mexico, Senegal and Morocco so expect subtitles.
