I rewatched ARMEGEDDON today, and it reminded me of how much I love Bruce Willis, and how terrible I feel regarding him coming down with Alzheimer's disease. (My Aunt died from it, as did my Mother. And I see evidence that many of the best and brightest that my Dad used to work with are showing signs of it. Of course, when a victim is halfway thru the disease the families seem to close ranks and keep him or her out of sight. So the true cost and range of the disease are hidden from the general public.)
So allow me to add one more TV series.....
Moonlighting is an American
comedy drama television series that aired on
ABC from March 3, 1985, to May 14, 1989. The network aired a total of 67 episodes.
[1] Starring
Cybill Shepherd and
Bruce Willis as
private detectives, and
Allyce Beasley as their quirky receptionist, the show was a mixture of
drama,
comedy,
mystery, and
romance, and was considered to be one of the first successful and influential examples of
comedy drama, or "dramedy", emerging as a distinct television genre.
I almost put THE ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN (from the 1950s and early 1960s here) but as I began to type I began to feel really OLD!)
