What series have you binge watched lately?

@Nubzor it’s fantastic! Seemed a bit ambitious at first but they pulled it off
Absolutely I agree! Just love some me some good quality television shows.

Random anecdote but movies were never my cup of tea, I prefer the longer experience of the shows. Really allows me to connect with the characters and truly appreciate the story. Though one could argue it takes more skill for a writer/director to really lay the groundwork, develop the characters, and execute a complete and engaging story in ~2hr runtime of a movie. But television series will always be my favorite. My “escape” lol!

West Wing which was great.

Six Feet Under which was great but kind of sad as every episode starts with a death.

Currently watching LA Law which is so politically incorrect now it's funny.

@Nubzor. I’m a horrible “binger” …takes a lot to hold my attention. But I was thinking, some series lend themselves more for “binging”. I was watching “the Walking Dead” for first time last year when I had covid…and by the end of season three…it seemed redundant and ridiculous ? But it was released as a a weekly series…some shows need a week between each one not to seem “too much” . Now, I can just WATCH one show a week…but by the time I have this epiphany…I’ve lost interest. This series is good enough and interesting enough to watch over a couple days !

@Nubzor I just realized w (watching last episode now) that when they do the split screen of Harker/Elias throughout the centuries….the evil genius is really….Elon Musk! Harker= Elon Musk!

Just finished Bodies on Netflix. A few others have mentioned it here. I found it intriguing, filled with twists and it wrapped up the ending. Although there is room for a follow up. Reminded me a bit like the series Dark.

Last week I watched the entirety of Peaky Blinders ( took about a week of watching several episodes per day ) I enjoyed it. I just heard yesterday that instead of a Season 7 , which got cancelled, there will be a feature length film to be released in 2024

I am now watching The Outer Limits, Alfred Hitchcock, and of course the Twilight Zone. I get everything via bit torrent. It's payment for being tortured since the time of my Childhood with having to watch television commercials. It's something I despise and I swore never to be forced to watch any ads again.

Those are all antique shows, but remarkably well done for these times. :movie:

Currently watching I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here (UK). Also Bake Off. And Strictly Come Dancing. Autumn and winter offer excellent TV options here!
