Had to watch Alien + Aliens double feature again after hearing all the hype about Alien: Romulus. First two, best two.
 
I just watched Life of Brian on Netflix, which I haven’t seen in a very long time. If you like them (Monty Python) the movie is absolutely hysterical.
 
I watch so few movies that it's actually hard to remember. I feel like it might have been maybe the first half of the latest Hunger Games movie..... The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. In fact, this is a good reminder to actually go back and watch the *last* half of it.
 
Meet Joe Black. It's an interesting concept! Made me feel very nostalgic. But it definitely needs editing - does not need to be 3 hours long. 😅
 
The Crow, again, for the zillionth time lol. 1994 movie only! Definitely an all time favorite of mine.

I recently watched (for the 2nd time) Everything, Everywhere, All At Once. Saw it the first time at the movies and my mind was blown. Just as good on my old af laptop haha
 
I just saw THE SUBSTANCE the other night in the theater. I actually really liked it! It's kind of a horror movie with a big message about women's beauty standards. The end was over the top but it had been building to it through the entire movie so it didn't feel cheap or crazy.

Tried to watch Megalopolis and walked out. I have studied and love Classic culture and anything about the Roman Empire so I was really excited for this. Came off very pseudo-intellectual and I just couldn't get into it. I would't recommend.

I def. recommend The Substance- but beware it relies heavily on a variety of horror tropes. I'm not a huge horror fan unless really well done but this I liked.
 
Last movie I watched was Predators (2010). It’s the fifth movie in the series of six. Also my second favorite of the series as this time 10 people are transported to the predators planet and they are being hunted instead of the other way around. I love discussing 80s films and movies made with CGI and watching this brings back many great memories of my childhood.
 
I haven't really watched many movies the last few years. I've found the movies I do watch are usually geared more toward my Mom since she likes watching movies. She's 80 years old so I watch a lot of the movies with older actors and actresses in them. The most recent was The Fabulous Four. I was not a fan. A lot of these types of movies just get caught up in the names. The acting, plot and other related stuff leaves something to be desired.
 
If you like sci-fi with quantum physics creating ultimate possibilities thrown in so you can live in multiple realities of your perfect world, then this series is for you. Starring Jennifer Connelly and Joel Edgerton.
