Why don’t you use the darkweb?

Recommended Pharmacies on Pharmacy Reviewer

Darknet has taken the sketchy craigslist like encounters out of life and made it a little easier, it’s a lot to learn and a lot to carry on your shoulders if your a worried person without the best OPSEC and computer skills with all the tools that their are it is feasible and also for those who don’t know TAILS will take a lot of that “worry” about scams phishing virus’ off your plate and just keep it to the minimal using the most trusted wallets and coins that are accepted if you have a choice especially in the vendor space Monero is pretty much safest but like I said it’s taken a lot of that weird craigslist I’m looking for this from a person you are close to in your town to a vendor space like Etsy so it’s good in that regard as far as what you do on the Darknet if your just browsing learning playing games for coins or gambling a little it’s much more safer IMO than using a clear net site that has acces to all your bank info and ID etc.. don’t get me wrong there is just as much bad as good in the darknet but it’s a matter of research testing things out and that’s what I love about the crypto is you can put a dollar down to play a game or bet on something and still be secure with the rest of your crypto funds.

I'm scared to use it. I don't know how to navigate it, I am scared of getting a virus, or ripped off

Can you get a virus just by browsing the da4k web?
No, in that way it is safer than probably anything else. If done right, you use a browser with javascript completely disabled. All the bells and whistles on modern websites are gone. If you see a dark market that wants to run scripts, leave -- it's a scam.

But, it is effort to set up right. It's doable, but it's effort. And it will be effort in multiple areas few people are used to:

- PGP to encrypt each and every message
- setting up PGP to begin with
- password manager for serious random passwords and usernames for each place you register
- getting BTC or XMR
- storing and handling BTC or XML
- and transferring it
- and having Tor set up and running without leaks
- and finding good vendors (where the forums with feedback include meth rants)

And other stuff to adjust to simply because it's different.

There are excellent guides for this (my random list is in no way a guide). Taking the time to learn it will make it work, and work safely. That effort isn't worth it for many.

It is just confusing to me, also do not know how to use bitcoin
I have heard that many many times before but the dark web is actually really simple to access and use!
I have met some people who refuse to use just because they believe the same, it's confusing.
I also think the fact that it's called the "dark web" scares people. Realistically it's a bunch of websites that require a application like Tor to access. After a little bit of time playing around with it I realized how simple it truly was.
Cryptocurrency is also super easy to learn and use as well.
The funny thing is, there are a ton of people that will not use clearnet vendors out of fear that their identities will be exposed.
The pros of using the DW are of course hiding your identity but also finding a lot more vendors for whatever you are looking for. There is also a forum on the DW called Dread and that is where alot of vendors are talked about and reviews are done on those vendors.
The DW has its own problems just like the clearnet does.
I believe everyone should use both or at least become familiar with using both. It never hurts to learn a little more.....
PS
PGP
Super simple to use, you just need to practice a little bit and you will get it down. Once you do you, can write encrypted messages very quickly!

I haven’t (re)learned it because I thought the govt shut everything down when the Silk Road bust happened. I used to know how to access it but never did buy anything.

@zephyr1015 The silk road was a marketplace that was taken down. Once that happened lots more marketplaces started to open up. Some were taken down, some exit scammed.
But to this day there exist a thriving community and many marketplaces to use.
Lately the problem has been that a handful of the market places started to exit scam. Some buyers were caught in this but mostly the vendors got screwed.

@palmetto10 I know how to access the dark web and have looked at some of the websites, it is just the bitcoin that confuses me.

You are right about learning it is essential though. Do you know of a quick guide to it anywhere?

That makes a lot of sense. I don’t know why I had it in my head that Silk Road = dark web!

@Robomarley1
You can Google Bitcoin guides but a lot of them contain information you really don't need to know.
The only thing you are doing is buying Bitcoin and then sending it to a vendor.
So you start off by going on to a exchange that sells Bitcoin. I recommend Kraken.
The next step is to get a wallet. This is where you will store your cryptocurrency. I recommend Exodus.
Now you purchase Bitcoin from Kraken, let's say you need $100 for a vendor. So you would buy $120-$125 because there are fees for buying Bitcoin.
Then you send that Bitcoin you just bought to your wallet.
Once it's in your wallet it's ready to be sent to the vendor.
You get their Bitcoin wallet addresses and send them the Bitcoin.
That's it!
You can do this all on your phone if you wanted to.
To try and simplify it more.
Buy bitcoin from Kraken, send bitcoin to your Exodus wallet and then send it to your vendors wallet.

This will be a more detailed post about cryptocurrency and you will hear me say why you shouldn't use BTC anymore but if that is all a vendor will accept you really don't have any choice but to use it.
Monero(XMR) is a much better currency to use because it is untraceable unlike Bitcoin.
When you buy bitcoin from an exchange such as Kraken there is a transaction that is made and anyone can see it.
So when you send your BTC to your wallet and then to your vendor, that transaction can be traced all the way back to where the Bitcoin was originally purchased. Having the wallet can protect you because if for some reason someone was tracing this transaction, they would have to prove that the wallet belonged to you. But this wouldn't be that difficult for the right people to do.
That is why XMR should be the only currency vendors accept. But the vendors hardly know anything about Bitcoin other than how to turn it into actual cash. Most still think it's untraceable.
The Dark Web is much further ahead with understanding this than those on the clearnet because being on DW is all about being anonymous.
In my opinion the alphabet boys aren't out to get small time buyers, so using Bitcoin isn't the end of the world. I have used it many times before because the vendor wouldn't accept anything else.

We were all unfamiliar with the dark web at some point! Maybe that's all you knew because of news articles you read or saw. Unless you really start reading into it, no one knows anything about it.
I always say, it's never to late to start learning something new!!!

I’m a bit of a technophobe 🦖 really it takes me all my time to work this on the IOps I can’t even use Bitcion 🥵😂.I don’t use a computer and don’t fancy my phone being hacked as I can just about use a smartphone lol.Of course you hear all the horror stories but I know I should have tor especially to use the dark web but Im too old as at school computing wasn’t even part or the curriculum (giving away my age here).Basically I’m a manual worker who work with my hands and I’ve never had to use computers and to me windows are something to keep the cold out and open when it’s hot 🥵😂🤣🤣.
I just about get by here and I got the hang of this place just like the DREADED DBGF (banned for no reason) at the same time as D for being a good supporter of her I think!.Before that Topix so I’ve been around a bit!.Thing is the powers that be will most likely find a way of taking any way of procuring the things we need and it’s not like we can just go to the doctor is it (unless your very rich) and just buy from private docs?.I’ve done that on holiday too and it’s an expensive way to get what you need/fancy years back I done it and paid around $130 for each medicine I wanted for 7 days worth!.I said I’m here for 14 days he said come back and see me in a week and pay the same for the same prescription which was 3x $130 almost $400 each visit and I only asked for zopiclone, diazepam and lorazepam.Imagine if I asked for Oxy!!!😤🤷‍♂️.
Deanzer….

I'd have to get tails.. then run it.. operate it successfully.. then learn PGP.. however long that will take.. then I have to figure out BTC exchange rates and what's the safest app/website to use... (one person will say A, then someone else will say no, A sucks, use B, etc) Markets are constantly pulling exit scams, so many of them look like honeypot, you never know if the reviews are fake or not, then you spend a lot of money just on exchange fees converting BTC to XMR , and the items themselves are really expensive.

It makes me anxious thinking about doing all of that when it sounds no different essentially, than finding a legitimate clearnet person, but with a bunch of extra steps and frustration :(

@Deanzer Too old! Nonsense! I'm way older than you, as you know, and I can do a lot of this stuff. I've been able to use crypto for years but it was a matter of having to. I didn't think I would ever get the hang of it and then suddenly it just clicked.

And @Nubzor was a big help to me recently with how to access a dark web site. But everybody is different @Deanzer. You would have a lot of skills that I haven't got. Lots! And no, I'm not being smutty. Well, maybe just a little bit...

Banks here are really cracking down on people buying crypto now though. It's a nightmare. And no, we haven't got Cashapp and very few crypto ATMs. Certainly none anywhere near where I live. Very few in the whole country.

but if you choose to use the dark web, then use VPN and all the other masking agents available.....is my best advise.
My neighbor had one masking ips and sjot - so many charges when he was caught so many charges just from doing that A don’t do it

Exactly, I find it confusing and I don't understand it and it makes me nervous. I did learn Bitcoin way back in 2017 I bought some. I can't remember how tho. I still have it, I didnt gain or lose money tho

Definitely use PGP. I got phished for $500 trying to buy bars. I did get some good weed though before that happened. Now I just buy THCA flower lol. The best loophole ever.
