This is true. Lots of good vendors with lots of good reviews. You can typically get the best prices on the dark web, too, at least for domestic sources.

You can see reviews on the darknet markets, too. Also, your money goes into escrow so that vendors don't get paid until you get delivered what you actually ordered.

I’m definitely interested in it but I’ve already once before lost access to a crypto wallet, then I moved to a new country (marriage), and collapsed with illness. I don’t currently earn my own money so it’s pointless for me to set up crypto.

My biggest fear with the dark web, if I’m being perfectly honest, is that it’s used for CP. I have some fear of somehow getting some kind of spyware or virus that loads CP on my device.

And I don’t really know what to do. If there was a forum like this one that discussed sources on the dark net, and how to use it, how to protect yourself, etc. would like to know!

There used to be some threads here on PR that talked very specifically about the darknet. I agree tho - it has its appeals for several reasons, but just learning bitcoin tested my nerves enough for now...

I do think if options get harder and harder, the darknet will get more attention from us. But most folks here just want their meds with as little hassle as possible, and honestly, I feel like I have MORE options than I did a few years ago...

To tell you the truth, the risk is probably greater over clear net markets and basic email. If they ever bust a major dark net market like that then they are going after the big fish. The operators of the site and maybe some of the largest vendors IF they can figure out who those vendors even are. Lots of encryption with PGP. The larger dark net market sites probably have hundreds of thousands or millions of transactions. Most of which are uniquely encrypted. It's kind of like customs. The little fish buying personal amounts aren't their targets. Just too much to deal with.

Turn off javascript on your Tor browser and only go the reputable, legitimate mirrors for the best markets. (like Abacus or Archetyp). Daunt(dot)link is a good resource for legitimate mirrors and links. Incorrect mirrors may be phishing sites. I now have my own private mirrors for both Abacus and Archetyp as I'm an established buyer on both.

Yes, same fear for me as well. With so much bad publicity and actual reports on illegal stuff on there prefer to stay far away from it. Tried it a couple of years back but chickened out.

The products I've purchased on the dark web have been very good quality. Maybe that's jaded my experience on clearweb? Then again, I have only ordered from vendors with extensive positive reviews.

Prices certainly are cheaper on the dark web, too. Probably supply and demand. Some of the clear net vendors scoffed when I asked them to match. I'll stay where I know quality is good and has the best prices. Maybe senior status will open new opportunities?

Honestly, you really have nothing to fear. You only need to get into the things you're comfortable with and ignore the rest.

@Mick2 I have to ask a question. You've posted 7 times on this one page about how great the dark web is and have went on to say that you were an established buyer on 2 sites. You also state that the dark web has the best prices, great quality, plus you dont have to pay untill you receive your mag and that the clear web in your op is riskier than the dark web. So, with all those positive things you have mentioned , why now bother with anything else?

Honestly, you really have nothing to fear. You only need to get into the things you’re comfortable with and ignore the rest.

I do know of someone who reported a visit from some DEA agents fairly recently (maybe within the last six months) who said they got his name from the dark web, so that added to my fears. He actually hadn’t used the dark web himself but thought perhaps a vendor he used HAD used it to access what they sold him. Visits like that are rare tho and I do know they can happen whether one uses the dark web or clear net too.
